If you have never seen the Blue Angels you are in for a real treat. Wings Over Atlanta Air Show will be at Dobbins Air Reserve Base. High-flying aerobatic performances by the Blue Angels and Canadian Snowbirds, plus the Wings of Blue Parachute team. Oct. 16-17. 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Dobbins Patrol Road, Marietta, GA
First act begins at 10 a.m. and gates close at 5:30 p.m. Admission is free and there is free parking available at the Cobb County Jim Miller Park, Six Flags Whitewater, and Lockheed. There is no public parking at Dobbins ARB. You may be able to see some of the show from nearby. The shows we have seen have very cool things going on at ground level that would make the shuttle onto the base worth the trip.
