Free Residential Appliance Recycling Day for Cobb. The event will be held 7 a.m.-4 p.m., Saturday, July 23. Accepted items will include: washers, dryers, refrigerators, freezers, stoves, ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, gas/barbecue grills and lawn mowers.
We went in July and took 2 broken microwaves, 2 large tv's, 1 medium tv and 1 small tv and it was $7 total. I was impressed with the organization of traffic and would participate in this event again. It was $7 for up to 400 pounds of tv's. The microwaves were FREE. Our garage looks much better.
