Home Depot Kids Workshops have been one of our favorite things to do for years. The FREE workshops are offered the 1st Saturday of every month from 9 - noon, nationwide. Add the dates to your calender even when you are traveling. The orange aprons are light and easy to pack. It is great fun to see how many states we can do Home Depot Kids Workshops in. The kids earn a pin for their smock, and have gained confidence in handing tools and completing a useful project that often make great gifts. If they don't offer a painting station at the store we go to our girls have enjoyed coming home and working on the back porch and painting their projects. Upcoming 2012 dates are: August 4th and September 1st.
